Owendale Jessica 14hh Liver Chestnut Welsh B Mare, Full sister to our beautiful OZ. Jessica has arrived at our stables late 2011 and is to be set to compete in the Show Hunter Large Pony classes in 2012 as a newcomer, later being used for breeding. |
Penley Geometric Rex as he is known is a 14h Welsh Cob x pony gelding, owned by the Bartlett family. Rex has won a countless champions and awards for Jessica Bartlett who is his regular rider. Rex is a very competitive Interschool mount qualifying for the Nationals in the past 2 seasons, Jess concentrates on dressage with Rex. |
Top That of Astral Cricket as he is known is owned by the Bartlett family and arrived at Tallarook Park in May 2011. Cricket has been a winning show hack both in WA, Victoria and NSW, he has his little quirks but is proving to be a brilliant first hack for his rider Jessica Bartlett. Cricket sire: |
Tallarook Park Jitterbug Buggy as he is known is homebred, sired by Congraninni King Cyrus (welshB) out of our top performing show pony mare Kirralea Cabaret. Buggy was born November 2010 is a black/Brown gelding very riding pony type with a lovely front and beautiful ground covering mover. Expected to mature 11.2h, Buggy will be a future lead-rein pony for my daughters to enjoy. |
Owendale Firefox Foxy is a chestnut gelding approx. 13.1hh, Sire: Owendale Mandarin (sire: Baughurst William of Orange) out of Owendale Contessa who is a full sister to OZ and Jessica. Foxy is an outstanding moving boy with that impeccable Owendale temperamanet. Foxy is set to debut as a Show Hunter Newcomer in 2013. |

Karma Park Waterford Oscar is proving to be a very popular pony club and show pony mount. He stands at 13.1 3/4 hands. D.O.B. 8/11/94. Sire: Kirreway Quinton, Dam: Beafeater Orange Delight. Oscar is a deep liver chestnut with only one white sock on his rear right hind leg. He never comes home from a show without a blue ribbon! He is a great pony for a rider to have their first canter on.Leased to Adele Fitzpatrick and daughters. |
Kirralea Cabaret Black Riding Pony Mare 12.1h D.O.B 4/12/2000 Sire: Oakvale Serenade Dam: Kirralea Classic Rosie as she is known at has proven to be a super star show pony for us. Royal Show Champion 2006, 2008, and 2009 Small Pony Champion at the Perth Royal Show. Horse of the Year EFA 2006, 2007, and 2008 was her Final EFA Hoty competition Taking out the big award. Champion Ridden Part Welsh at Perth Royal Show 2008, Newcomer Winner and top 10 2007 Grand National Championships in Sydney under English Judges. At the age of 10 yrs Rosie is now semi-retired and in foal for a November 2010 Foal, Rosie is in foal to Congranini King Cyrus (Welsh B). Being such a young mare we intend bringing Rosie back into work to compete in the ODE Series and Dressage in 2011. |

Tonka has been a top childs pony for us taking several riders to win at Royal Show and HOTY level, he is now teaching the little tots the ropes of riding. A brilliant small childs pony. |
Owendale William of Oz Oz is a 14hh liver chestnut riding pony Welsh colt. D.O.B 4/11/04. Sire: Baghurst William of Orange, Dam: Hazelmere Rhyada. OZ is our Top Class Show Hunter Galloway standing at 14.2hh. EFA HOTY, Multiple Royal Show Champion, Led and Ridden Welsh Champion and Supreme Champion. Top Dressage pony who is ever reliable and enjoys teaching young children to ride. Everyone's favourite. |
Balmoral Niad Niad is a lovely bay roan mare standing at 13.3 hands. Sire: Topcraft Troubadour, Dam: Balmoral Stella Maris. Niad is a lovely smooth moving pony who loves dressage and eventing. He is one of our very popular pony club mounts. |

Competition Team – Team Tallarook. A small group of dedicated parents and very lucky children regularly attend shows and events. Riding at a competitive level is hard work, early mornings, late nights but full of fun and good friends. Riders of all ages are able to have a go at local shows and events, parents are required to get involved and will enjoy the social scene that goes with the competition riding. Tallarook Park Breeding Programme
At Tallarook Park we have started our own breeding programme, with a small select band of mares we have:
Kirralea Cabaret is our only mare in foal for a November 2010 foal. Rosie as she is known is in foal to the beautiful Welsh B stallion Congranini King Cyrus. As Rosie is still a young mare at 9 yrs old, we intend to bring her back into work and compete in Dressage and Eventing in 2011.
Our last foal in 2007 is Tallarook Park Hot Gossip, Sire: Oakvale Serenade, Dam: Leanda Idle Gossip. Red as she is known is now being started under saddle, she has the most loving and sweet natures in the stables. Unfortunately due to a paddock accident Red will not make it to the show ring instead she will make a brilliant school pony and a future broodmare for our breeding programme at Tallarook Park.
We have a new addition to our breeding programme he is 'Gordon Park Peter Pan' a stunning Palomino colt. Sire: Oakvale Serenade Dam: Wendamar Trinkett, Peter Pan is a full brother to our super Childs pony 'Gordon Park Music Box'. Peter Pan was born in December 2009, he is enjoying being handled and stabled. He will be shown in 2011 in Riding Pony and Palomino classes before being used for stud duties and later a ridden pony prospect. We are very excited to see how our little Peter Pan grows up.
